GILT - Get Into London Theatre has begun for this year

New year, new bumper crop of plays that I am dying to see. Almost inevitably most of my theatregoing is complete by spring. There are two reasons for this. First, there is something magical about attending a play or musical in the winter - donning a fine new outfit, wrapping up warm on top of that and going out, having a hot toddy or a glass of eggnog to keep one warm also doesn't go amiss. The second reason is GILT or Get Into London Theatre - this is an annual promotion that runs from the first of January until the 12th of February and runs special offers for the fabulous series of shows running in London theatre right now. For theatre lovers like me there is nothing better to beat the winter blues.
